This page describes the TantaPulse site check, the User-Agent we identify ourselves with, and how to ask us to stop checking a domain.

What the check does
We make one GET request to a business's public home page to see whether the site is reachable and working. That is the whole request. We identify ourselves with this User-Agent:
TantaPulseCheck/1.0 (+https://tantapulse.com/bot; mailto:info@tanta-holdings.com)
If the page does not load, we record that the site was not reachable. We do not read the rest of the site.
robots.txt
We fetch robots.txt first. If robots.txt disallows our user agent, or disallows all crawlers, we do not fetch the page at all. We treat the site as unverified instead of contacting the owner.
What we do not do
- We do not crawl the rest of your site.
- We do not submit forms.
- We do not attempt to log in.
- We do not use proxies.
- We do not rotate our user agent.
How to opt out
Email info@tanta-holdings.com with the domain name you want checked. The request is honored permanently: we stop checking that domain and we do not resume it. We act on opt out requests within 10 business days.
